Hosting an event is a great way to raise awareness of your organisation and share your mission with your community.
Events provide an invaluable marketing tool – face-to-face interaction. Speaking with your stakeholders in person is the most powerful means of communication allowing your organisation or business to share your mission, goals, values and latest news with clients.
And what better way to communicate these values than through an event launch, networking event or corporate function?
We were recently honored to be a part of the USQ’s launch of the Gumbi Gumbi Gardens, to celebrate the culture of local aboriginal communities.
Through this event, the University of Southern QLD was able to display to the public and the media their organisational values. In this case, the university showed their commitment to developing a better understanding of indigenous communities as well as acknowledging the culture and the contribution they have made to the region.

So what do you think? Are events a useful marketing and PR tool? We definitely think so!
